About the role
Join our Bangkok team on a global enterprise data platform, turning raw source data into trusted, analytics-ready products on Snowflake with dbt. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bangkok, Thailand. We welcome applicants of any nationality and support relocation.
What you will do
- Maintain, enhance and support dbt models that transform raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets on Snowflake
- Build, operate and optimise enterprise data ingestion pipelines (Qlik Replicate, NiFi, Fivetran)
- Support the transition and knowledge transfer of enterprise data products from project teams into business-as-usual operations
- Design and implement scalable data models following enterprise standards
- Ensure data quality, integrity and governance across datasets
- Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical data solutions and specifications
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise production data workflows
- Work closely with product owners, solution architects, functional analysts and data engineers in an Agile delivery environment
- Maintain clear technical documentation, data lineage, operational runbooks and support procedures
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, ETL/ELT Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including dimensional modelling and star schema design
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt on enterprise-scale data platforms
- Experience building and supporting data integration solutions with Qlik Replicate, Apache NiFi, Fivetran or similar tools
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and DevOps practices, including GitHub, CI/CD and version control
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support production environments
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, and a teamwork mindset
- Fluent English (TOEIC 750+, TOEFL iBT 98+ or IELTS 6.5+)
Nice to have
- Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced – Data Engineer)
- dbt certifications (Analytics Engineering, dbt Architect)
- Azure certificates (AZ-900, DP-900)
- SAP S/4HANA data structures, SAP BW, CDS Views or SAP data extraction frameworks
